Get a head start on Easter with a trip on the Smoky Valley Limited’s “Cottontail Express,” the Abilene and Smoky Valley Railroad’s new Easter train! Join us for a two-hour train ride through the river valley to our destination at the Hoffman Mill and General Store in Enterprise, with a classic “Easter Eve” meal: a fried chicken dinner from the Brookville Hotel in Abilene. Chef Jeffrey Higgins has prepared pan fried chicken, real mashed potatoes with cream gravy, sweet and sour coleslaw, creamed corn, homemade biscuits, and, to top it off: the Brookville Hotel’s old fashioned homemade ice cream. Iced tea or water accompanies your meal. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance as we chug along the way!
