The Abilene and Smoky Valley’s Meadowlark Flyer is a perfect way to learn about railroads and how rail entrepreneurs built our state’s agribusiness economy.

Since 2015, our school charter runs have hauled over 15,000 students on our short runs between Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot and Key Road between Abilene and Enterprise. Our short-run Flyers are perfect for smaller groups, where you can charter one car, or for larger groups, you can charter the entire train. Your train adventure lasts one hour. The Meadowlark Flyer is a perfect school or social group outing. Train times on Wednesdays are 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It’s an experience your students or social group will never forget.
