DINNER TRAIN: 2025 Smoky Valley Limited New Years Eve Extravaganza

The Abilene and Smoky Valley Railroad’s Smoky Valley Limited has a great idea for New Year’s Eve. Have dinner with us before you begin your celebration of the arrival of 2026! Scott Sieben of Kites in Aggieville Manhattan is preparing your choice of sliced beef brisket or succulent roast pork loin, with roasted potatoes, asparagus, assorted dinner rolls with butter, and for dessert, cheesecake with salted caramel topping. Coffee, iced tea and water will accompany the meal, but for an extra cost, popular beers and wines will be available, as well as beer, wine and champagne to usher in the new year. The Limited leaves our historic Rock Island Depot at 5:00 p.m. with a stop in Enterprise, Kansas, at the Hoffman Mill and County Store, returning to Abilene by 8:30 to allow you to go on to your New Year’s Eve celebration.
