Veterans Day celebrates the dedication and selfless sacrifices of men and women who have served in America’s armed forces. And on the Smoky Valley Limited dinner train, we’re ringing Veterans Day weekend with a great steak dinner from the Brookville Hotel in Abilene, the home of quality Kansas raised Munson beef. Join us for your choice of a fillet, ribeye or KC strip, cooked to perfection, with those famous Brookville Hotel sides: mashed potatoes with cream gravy, cream style corn, coleslaw, and homemade biscuits, topped off with the Brookville Hotel’s old fashioned homemade ice cream for dessert. Complimentary iced tea and water will be served, and for an extra charge, beer and wine is available. Our train will be decked in red, white and blue, and will leave Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot for a round trip from Abilene to Enterprise, with a 30-minute layover at Enterprise’s Hoffman Mill and Country Store.
