Tony and his staff at Martinelli’s Little Italy have a great Saturday night date idea: Take the train, the Abilene and Smoky Valley’s Railroad’s popular dinner train, the Smoky Valley Limited. On Saturday night, September 26, Martinelli’s will be serving up a great taste of Italy. Linguine chicken pasta and chicken parm, with Martinelli’s classic Italian chopped salad, asparagus, with bread and butter and a piece of rich molten Vesuvio chocolate cake for dessert. Coffee, tea and water are complimentary with your meal, and soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase. Our dinner train leaves at 6:00 p.m. from Abilene’s historic 1887 Rock Island Depot for a two hour train ride adventure through the Smoky Hill River Valley that includes a stop at the Hoffman Mill and Country Store in Enterprise, Kansas.
