What a great family weekend! Before the kids go off to school, how about one final fun event? A game show! A&SV’s Smoky Valley Limited dinner train presents a special night of game show fun for a unique last family or group outing for the summer. It’s “FAMILY FUED, A&SV STYLE” where groups riding in our Chicago and Enterprise cars team up to play the game you’ve seen millions of times on TV. John Robison and Erin Fox will be your hosts as your group tries to match wits with the results of the train survey. It’s a night of laughter and prizes on the train. Passengers in the Chicago car will have their chance to be contestants on the way to our stop in Enterprise, Kansas, and passengers in the Enterprise car will get their turn on the way back to Abilene! Our caterer for the evening, Kites of Aggieville Manhattan will be serving roast pork loin, roasted vegetable medley, dinner roll with butter, and for dessert, cheesecake with salted caramel. . Complimentary coffee, iced tea, and water will be served, and for a little extra, enjoy a popular soft drink, cold beer, or glass of wine with your meal. Our two-hour train adventure begins at 6:00 p.m. at the historic Rock Island Depot in Abilene with a stop at the Hoffman Mill and General Store in Enterprise, Kansas. Celebrate a summer well done on the Abilene and Smoky Valley, the Kansas Heritage Railroad.
