It’s a Halloween party for grownups! Help us usher in Halloween season on Saturday, October 25, for a special date night train, the Smoky Valley Limited’s “Halloween Spooktacular!” The Spooktacular features great food and fun, and our first-ever costume contest! We’re awarding a meal full refund as the prize for the best costume and we’re offering two Cowtown Santa Express tickets for the most original costume! We’ve got great food from our caterer, Kite of Aggieville Manhattan. Enjoy your choice of smothered chicken breast OR good old fashioned meatloaf, with butternut squash, cheesy potatoes, and dinner roll, with apple cobbler for dessert. Coffee, tea, and water accompanies the meal, but for a little extra, have an ice cold beer or a glass of wine!? Our two-hour rail adventure begins at 6:00 p.m., leaving from Abilene’s 1887 Rock Island Depot for a round trip through the river valley and a stop in Enterprise, Kansas, at the Hoffman Mill and Country Store. It’s “spooktacularly” good fun on the Smoky Valley Limited!
