HEY SHERLOCKS! IT’S ANOTHER MURDER IN THE CHICAGO CAR!
There’s been a murder in Chicago…the Smoky Valley Limited’s Chicago car, that is. Join us on Saturday, August 8, for “Love in the Ozarks,” a classic Chicago car murder mystery! It’s a rip-roarin’ ride where family feuds roll as fast as the train itself and all 56 passengers in the Chicago car become detectives before journey’s end. Whether or not you’re in the Chicago car, all passengers will enjoy a classic summertime meal prepared by Chef Scott Sieben of Kites in Aggieville Manhattan! Smothered chicken topped with sauteed bell peppers, onions and melted provolone cheese, roasted sweet potatoes, broccoli and a dinner roll, with strawberry shortcake for dessert. Complimentary coffee, iced tea, and water will be served, and for a little extra, enjoy a popular soft drink, cold beer, or glass of wine with your meal. Our two-hour train adventure begins at 6:00 p.m. at the historic Rock Island Depot in Abilene with a stop at the Hoffman Mill and General Store in Enterprise, Kansas.
