Dinner Train (Steam) Cajun Food from Kite’s

“Laissez les bon temps rouler!” 

That’s Cajun talk for “Let the good times roll!” And what’s better than great New Orleans style cooking as we roll along the tracks of the Abilene and Smoky Valley Railroad on the “Cowtown Cajun Express!” On Saturday, June 24, Kite’s of Aggieville Manhattan presents a menu straight from Bourbon Street. Enjoy shrimp etouffee, jambalaya, red beans and rice and New Orleans style king cake for dessert. Coffee or tea will accompany the meal. Our 1919 steam locomotive will provide the powe4 as you dine in our newly remodeled passenger coaches in a trip across the Smoky Hill River Valley to Enterprise. Trains leave Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot at 6:00 p.m.
