Kansas is Beef Country!
If you ask anyone to list their favorite beef barbeque items, chances are that brisket will be on almost everybody’s list. And here in beef country, we eat a lot of it. Join us on Saturday, July 15, as Lucinda’s Katering of Abilene presents a good old-fashioned Kansas beef brisket dinner, with salad, smoked brisket, cheesy potatoes, seasoned green beans, rolls and butter, with cheesecake for dessert! Coffee or tea will accompany the meal. Our two-hour train ride and dinner will be powered by our classic steam engine, Santa Fe 3415, as you ride in our climate controlled antique passenger cars.
