Swing into Autumn this weekend with a great meal and a classic train ride on the state’s official heritage railroad. The Abilene and Smoky Valley’s dinner train, the Smoky Valley Limited, is serving up a great meal, Italian style from Broadway Station in Herington! Hearty, cheesy, flavorful lasagna with an Italian chopped salad, three bean salad, bread sticks and velvety smooth lemon Italian cream cake, will be served, with complimentary coffee, iced tea or water. Soft drinks, beer or wine are available for purchase. Your two-hour rail adventure takes you through the autumnal splendor of the Smoky Hill River Valley, with a stop at the Hoffman Mill and General Store in Enterprise.
