Excursion Train (Steam)

You have one last opportunity to ride on Kansas’ only steam powered railroad for this season! On October 7, the A&SV will run two steam-powered excursions before Santa Fe 3415 is scheduled for maintenance. So order your tickets today! Board the train at Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot for a two hour trip through the Smoky Hill River Valley!  At Enterprise, we’ll have a 30-minute layover, where you can tour the Hoffman Mill and shop in our country store that features several varieties of home-ground flour.
