Our train leaves Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, for a two-hour train adventure, where you ride in air-conditioned comfort in our antique passenger coaches through the river valley. All this while you enjoy Bookville Hotel fried chicken, with mashed potatoes with cream gravy, cream-style corn, coleslaw, and homemade biscuits, topped off with a rich, chocolaty brownie with whipped cream. Iced tea and coffee accompany the meal and for an extra charge, enjoy beer or wine with your meal!
