The leprechauns made us do it! The A&SV’s Smoky Valley Limited presents our second annual St. Patrick’s Day Express! Wear your green and celebrate St, Patrick’s Day in a unique way! On Saturday, March 15, our train leaves Abilene’s Rock Island Depot at 6:00 p.m. for a two-hour St. Patrick’s Day party in the Smoky Hill River Valley, complete with some of the best Irish-inspired food and beverage! Chef Scott Sieben of Kites in Aggieville Manhattan is preparing two great meal options. Choose from corned beef and hash with candied carrots and peas OR bangers and mash, with peas, brown gravy and candied carrots. And for dessert? We’re proudly serving our Guinness brownies! Tea and water accompanies the meal, but for a little extra have an ice cold beer! Our three vintage dining cars will be decked in green, the music will be Irish and the fun will be yours! DON’T’ GET PINCHED! Wear your green and take the train!
