A VETERANS DAY WEEKEND, A&SV STYLE! Veterans Day celebrates the dedication and selfless sacrifices of men and women who have served in America’s armed forces. Join us for a throwback to the war years, as we present our USO Show tribute, featuring Erin Fox and John Robison performing in our Chicago car as they salute to veterans on the A&SV's Flint Hills Express! Passengers in all three cars will enjoy a great steak dinner from the Brookville Hotel in Abilene, the home of quality Kansas raised Munson beef. Join us for your choice of a fillet, ribeye or KC strip, cooked to perfection, with those famous Brookville Hotel sides: mashed potatoes with cream gravy, cream style corn, coleslaw, and homemade biscuits, topped off with the Brookville Hotel’s old fashioned homemade ice cream for dessert. Complimentary iced tea, and coffee. water will be served, and for an extra charge, beer and wine is available. And beer, wine and soft drinks are now available for purchase. Our train will leave Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot for a round trip to Enterprise, with a 30-minute layover at Enterprise’s Hoffman Mill and Country Store.
