The leprechauns made us do it! The A&SV’s Smoky Valley Limited presents our second annual St. Patrick’s Day Express! Wear your green and celebrate St, Patrick’s Day in a unique way! On Saturday, March 14, our train leaves Abilene’s Rock Island Depot at 5:00 p.m. for a two-hour St. Patrick’s Day party in the Smoky Hill River Valley, complete with some of the best Irish-inspired food and beverage! Chef Scott Sieben of Kites in Aggieville Manhattan is preparing bangers and mash, corned beef and hash, and candied carrots and peas. And for dessert? Kites is proudly serving Guinness brownies! Coffee, tea and water accompanies the meal. Soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase. Our three vintage dining cars will be decked in green, the music will be Irish and the fun will be yours! DON’T GET PINCHED! Wear your green and take the train!
